Manhattan Youth Softball is a non-profit, volunteer-led organization, and we cannot serve the community and our players without our volunteers and sponsors!

The Manhattan Youth Softball (“MYS”) REC (recreational) program is for softball players in the Manhattan, Amsterdam, and Churchill areas. Our program serves girls, ages 6 through 12, in our 8U, 10U, and 12U age divisions. Our season typically runs from late March through mid-May, and some of our girls play into June and July. Last year, 75 girls in our community participated in softball!

MISSION

Manhattan Youth Softball strives is to provide a positive, fun environment for young softball players in the Manhattan, Amsterdam, and Churchill areas to develop their softball knowledge, skills, and love of the game.

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Manhattan Youth Softball “Program” is to support the REC league in the development of players in all age divisions, in order to build a strong and competitive softball program.

Our goal for REC Softball is for the girls to learn the necessary skills, rules of the game, good sportsmanship, and teamwork while having fun and growing in the sport.
